Im running 235 30 tires from what I know with a +40 offset If I rolled my fenders I could use a 15mm spacer and be cambered as fuuuuuuuu hahaha. Try it out I'de love to see how this looks keep us updated. My new wheels should be a lot more flush just gotta wait about a month before there ready though. :/AlexM. wrote:Put a 225/35 on the 10.5 and you won't have any issues![]()
No one really knows if it will fit. Based on my calculations though if I were to put a width like that on my setup specifically, (ride height, camber, and probably a 235 wide tire), I wouldn't have any outer clearance issues. It will actually stick out less than my setup. Now I'm not sure about inner wheel well clearance and hitting the struts and all that. But I think that would be an easy issue to clear up (just add spacers).
This is exciting lol. Obviously front will fit. Roll rears, add camber, and stretch tires. I'm debating to go 10 or 10.5 next setup. If I go 10.5 I will use a 235 wide tire to play it safe so that I wouldn't rub. Oh actually with 20's you can go 235/30![]()
I say go for it man. Someone has to experiment with it. Also you're getting sponsored so at least some of the wheel cost is covered. Worst case scenario do a fender pull and they'll look great! But like I said, from the outside it will look pretty close to mine. Mine "fit without issues" but we may have different standards. Good luck and lmk if you need any help.
Oilsink, Loop, and Bundath should have some ideas also. Phenom is running 10 or 10.5 in rear but I think his offset is +45 but you could use that as a reference
I think the front's would fit no problem.IBCoupe wrote:I'd recommend stretched tires. Keep us posted. I think you'd run into issues, but with rolled fenders and the camber, you might be spot on.
I'm actually more worried about your fronts.
Yeah man, don't settle, even if it's sponsored. But I bet someone like you already knows this.dangeris wrote:I would have to agree with the stretched tires. Partial sponsorships prices suck at times but it comes down to what you really want

^ This. He's lucky he's on springs because with coils.. boooy he gonna rub.downedzephyr wrote:275 in the rear will probably be too beefy/aggressive and you'll likely have rubbing issues.
how did the 20 x10 affect your turning? i wan't to get that size in GTR rim's i found a set ($1,000 for all 4) off a totaled one but didn't jump on it cuz i wasn't sure how it would fit.SanoSuKe wrote:^ This. Answering the above question; his fronts aren't that stretched tbh. it's a 235/30 on 8.5 width. I have the same tire size on my fronts but I run a 20x10, also remember different tires stretch differently. So if you buy a hankook v12 it won't be the same stretch as a nankang (yes, even if they're the same tire size).
In my opinion, a 245/35 would do the job. [ 10.5" rears ]jeffreezy wrote:What would be a good tire size for the rear, to match the front's stretch?
On stock height, they would fit 100% no problems.skiski329 wrote: how did the 20 x10 affect your turning? i wan't to get that size in GTR rim's i found a set ($1,000 for all 4) off a totaled one but didn't jump on it cuz i wasn't sure how it would fit.
I'd be on standard height btw.
I'm looking at different wheels now.SanoSuKe wrote:In my opinion, a 245/35 would do the job. [ 10.5" rears ]jeffreezy wrote:What would be a good tire size for the rear, to match the front's stretch?
