I totally agree, it is certainly not somehting that I would have picked out, but for the price I could not turn them down.
One of the front wheels has a .5" curb mark that can only be seen when you are on top of the wheels--every other wheel is perfect. The wheel/tire combo was purchased in November of 06 and has less than 5K on them. FWIW the tires are bridgestone Potenzas--245-35 and 275-30...
If I find another set, you're the first to know.

Most shops around here get around 5K with tires for a set of 20's, so I was very happy to pay what I paid.
