Old- 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe

Post

Hi, Guys I've been lingering around these forums for about two years now and I've finally created an account.
My 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe is currently running BC Racing Coilovers. My summer height is essentially maxed out front and rear is also maxed but with both the locking rings token out.

For this year I wanted a more aggressive wheel setup fitment. After searching through september till now, Ive decided to get the Rohana RC10's in Matte Graphite Center with Gloss Black Lip.

The wheels are 20 x 10 Square with +25 offset all around. Im currently at winter height but will be returning to summer height within a month or so.
My question are, Over this past weekend I've test fitted the wheels and they stick out a lot... Ive previously done research from other Altima Coupe Owners that were running aggressive 10" wide tires too and they're seemed perfect compared to what my initial test fit yield. I was hoping someone could give me pointers as to what I should do now?

I've been to my local shop that has rolled my rear fenders and he said my fronts going to need some work to workout but I don't want to run obsessive camber have obsessive tire stretch some stretch I'm alright with.

What tire sizes are you planning on running on the front? There are a few ways you can fix this but I'm not sure how far you're willing to go.

Honestly I'm not to sure myself, I haven't gotten tires yet. Some of my friends and shop owner says 225/35/20 which I think has to much stretch and lip exposed... I was thinking towards 235/35/20s Fronts and maybe 245/35/20 Rears. The only problem now is that 235/35/20 is a odd size and tire prices here locally are hella expensive for what I think is a subpar tire. The prices for the 235/35/20s here are around 260-300 for Nitto NT555, but 245/35/20s I can get Hankook Ventus for 260, Yokohama S.Drives for 270, Michelin Super Sports for 330. Also keep in mind these are Canadian prices and also the high USD to Cad conversion rate. Hence the reason why Ive just contacted my wheel rep and see if i could possibly get 20x9 fronts instead. Really just exploring my options and seeing which is most viable.

What kind of mods do you think I need to make them work? -2 or -3 camber in the front?

Yeah, you'll probably need to add camber up front to fit that. I had 225/35 on my 20s before and it wasn't so bad, just gotta drive carefully.

That was 20x10 +15 front and 0 offset rear. 225/35 & 235/35

My wheel rep got back to me and said I only have to pay shipping back for 2 of the 20x10s and they'll drop ship me the 20x9's with no more additional charges. Im seriously considering this because with the roads here locally no matter how careful you are, the road conditions are just horrible.

By the way, I retrofitted a sti lip today as well but it does go edge to edge on my bumper. Just wondering which year of the sti lip did you use?

My lip wasn't an STI lip, it was just based on it's design. It's actually a fiberglass molded lip, that's why it fit my car so well.

No wonder! the sti lip fits well with the only exception of 1inch from touching the edge of my bumper on both sides. I think i might just go with 20x9 thanks for your help though!
