Yes, i turned 20 and felt old.

Then i realized i would only be 10 years till 30!!Made me feel even worse

I'm probably the only 20 year old who frets over getting old.

It's weird cause I seem to have my whole life planned out before me, (what I want to do etc.), and I feel like it's already happened, and that I'm 40.

I turned 20 two years ago. It SUCKED. Turning 21 was okay, but after that it REALLY sucked.

I think my hair line is receding. Its over! I'm done for!

I know man. I was freaking out.

Feels kinda weird knowing that 1/4 of your life is over and that you really haven't done much of anything.

I guess it's some kind of early, early, early, midlife crisis.

Yeah, I had my 20th about 3 months ago. Nothing like a birthday where you don't get any privileges and you enter a new decade range to make you feel old.

Finish school, get a job, get a wife, kids, die.

I'm almost 21 now and 20 has just not been great. And trust me, you're not the only one who frets about being old. I have my whole life pretty much planned out ahead of me, and it sucks to feel like that, even though I like what I'm doing, and going to be doing.

I just turned 20 today and I totally agree. I was thinking this morning, oh man, only ten more years until I'm 30. I'm no longer a teenager, i'm 20. So yeah definately feeling old right now.

I don't even remember my 20th birthday (hmmm...maybe I *did* have a good time).

Anyway, I'm going to be 30 in two months. I don't give a ****. I still like playing video games, reading comic books and working on my car. It's like I'm perpetually a teenager.

My bones ache...I'm gonna take a little nap now. ;)

Edit: Beer...I still like beer. In fact, I might enjoy beer more now than ever. Mmmmm...beer.

see it, ride it, do it, buy it, build it, own it ...while you can.

You're only as old as you feel.

I'll hit the quarter centruy mark this Dec. Ouch!

Theres some book called The Quarterlife Crisis. (My mom saw it on Oprah and bought it for me) Its about the decisions young people face going from teenagers into adulthood and moving from school to the working world. Maybe I'll read it sometime...

I was so happy when I got a job. I thought "yeah, i'll finally have some money in my pocket." Well about 2 weeks after I starting working, I realized I had to do this until I retire! DAMN!!

Well two years down and 38 to go...

Hey slw240, if you ever get the chance, pack up the car and hit the road. Wherever you end up cant be worse then where you came from. Like you said, get a job to pay the bills til you figure out how to make some decent money. Dont wait, cause in a few years when the old ladys nagging and Jr keeps waking you up at night, youre gonna be thinking what could have been...

Well, you could also say that just 10 years ago you were 10. Of course, the speed of time grows exponentially every year for me, so it's like saying I was 10, 13 years ago and in 7 years I'll be 30 :(

And yes, I too am 20.

Happy birthday man, today is mine as well, 20 years, gone. and this one I didn't even have time to think about till my 2 hour trip today. I'm feeling so old right now, bones are aching and everything. Its such an odd way to feel knowing you still have 3/4 of your life left but yet you feel like there hasn't been a single thing you have really done to affect other people in the life altering world changing way. Either, way, here's to 20, you'll only live it once.
