I am terrible with offset stuff, but I did alot of searching and found that people with about or exactly the rims and offsets I want have. I am planning on 17x9 +17 all around. From what I have seen, with a roll in the rear, very light camber will get you by, in the front with stock rolled front fenders, I see people running 2.5-3 degrees of camber to fit them under the fenders. I however couldn't find any cars with about the same offset and 20 or 30mm wide front fenders. My question is, with 20mm front fenders, what am I looking at for fitment with 17x9 +17. I am pretty sure with +17 there wont be coil over problems from what I have read, please tell me if I am wrong.

17x9+17 fits just fine under stock fenders. No need for widebody with that.

If you run 20mm front fenders, you will make your wheels sunken unless you use some spacers. Why bother why widebody in that case?

Those are actually the rims I am getting, but in bronze, but anyway, it is hard to tell if he is running camber because of the turned wheel, but I used to run alot of camber on my G35, and I hated how fast I went through tires... I also do not have fenders, a front bumper, passenger lights or a hood, and OEM is way too expensive...

I really don't want to run more than 1 degree of camber.

How do you mean "it's hard to tell if he is running camber?" He lists his stats right on the page...

It says he' running -1.75 camber in the front and -.75 in the rear. Thats like nothing. A modest amount of negative camber boosts your handling capabilities. I know alot of 240 guys that run up to -2.5 in the front and -2.0 in the back with no complaints...

I can't say this from experience since I don't own coilovers... but I've heard that it's not camber that eats up your tires, it's your toe. If thats not at 0, then it's like dragging your tires along instead of letting them roll. Didyou have a proper alignment last time?

I missed his camber, my bad. My g35 did have a proper alignment, it was just more on the extreme side. Eventually had a blow out because of it... It is much more conservative camber now.

So, with a 20mm fender from what that guy on Rimtuck had, it may not have the tire rubbing the fender, but it will fit ok, I am not a huge fan of the stretched look, I am going to start with 245 and work my way higher.

Thanks for the info

Tyler
