My 23 Rogue S has the basic entertainment center. I would like to display Maps from my iPhone on the car's screen. Is there any way to do that without using Apple Carplay or some such subscription? That seems to be the only option my owner's manual offers whether connected by wire or Bluetooth.

XM from my iPhone works fine via Bluetooth, but no display of course.

To the best of my knowledge, ACP or AA is the only way to display maps. On the '21~'23's I believe it also needs to be a USB hookup, I'm pretty sure it won't bluetooth.

Yes, my manual says USB. Guess I'll have to continue to look at my tiny iPhone screen since I'm unwilling to pay for ACP just for GPS. Chalk it up to the cost of being a cheapskate. ☹️

Thanks!

Not sure why you would need to pay for Apple CarPlay ?
I comes free with your iPhone.

The USB cables can be hit and miss, both for AA & ACP.

In our 2018 we use this

to make it a wireless connection.

Online reviews are mixed, but it served us well the last few years.
iPhone SE and now 16e, and various Android phones.
