I purchased a 2023 Versa S M/T which obviously along with all other 2023 trims, did not come with fog lamps. The 2020-2022 assemblies not only do not fit into the updated fascia as they are a different shape for the opening and there is absolutely no mounting points for the fog lamp housing inside the fascia.
I have ordered a set of the 2023 fog lamp blanks that snap into the fascia to modify (i.e. cut out the inner opening)
The previous year model(s) light will fit behind these.

Does anyone have good suggestions as a starting point for how to mount these behind the 23 insert?

If I figure this out on my own I will follow up with pictures/diagrams.

I just checked ASIST and there are no OE accessory fogs listed for the '23's. Most of the OE kits attach through holes in the bumper skirt behind the fascia using 6mm clip nuts. You might need to make some holes to arrange something similar. If there isn't enough overlap underneath the fascia to directly attach the lamps, using steel perf strip to span the clip nuts with a bracket that loops around behind the lamps will usually work.

Please share your solution to this and the trunk pop in the keyless entry thread. Others may want to know how you installed fogs
