I did notice something odd when I was double-checking the ESM to answer your other post about the BOV. The public press and what we heard upstairs all said the '22 would come through with the 1.5T only. However, the manual has a section for the PR25DD, same plant as the gen6 Altima. So they must be making PR25 Rogues someplace in the world, and I wonder if it isn't an insurance policy for the US market in case the 1.5T isn't well-received. I plan to ask our DTS about it next time he visits.

thank you for your replay, yeah i did notice that as well that the manual states that the 2022 should or has an PR2DD engine somewhere, maybe Canada??? as for Europe i don't think 2.5L would fly, Europe is all about economy, ( i am myself from Poland ) so anything below 2.5L is welcomed..

So as from the other post, we established that 1.5L comes with a recirc BOV and its electronic at that... maybe someday someone comes out with a FMIC, but i doubt it,,, people wont buy this to drag race , but for economy, but i thought it would be fun to add some turbo flutter and blow off sound... but please check with your DTS guy..

The 2.5 l is still available in Canada in the S model only as far as I can gather.

Well, it isn't exactly "still" because the '21 has a completely different 2.5 from the '20. The '20's had the venerable QR25DE, the '21's have the PR25DD that only came out with the '19 Altima. I have a hard time imagining Nissan would go through all that design effort just for a 1-year stopgap, unless there was some other potential benefit.
