2021 Rogue Sport no digital speedometer

Hi,
Don't know if that was discussed, but I will still ask.
We just leased a new 2021 Rogue Sport SL, and realized there's no digital speedometer.
Which kind of weird, I've never seen a car without it.
The car has two Average Speed tracking, why? What the purpose?
Anyway, I've heard you can purchase a digital speedometer and connect it to the car.
Anyone purchased and can recommend a good one?

If you mean an aftermarket one, then there's an Output Speed Sensor on the CVT that can be used like a conventional VSS sensor. I don't know what the ticks-per-mile would be, but it probably isn't standard. You're likely to need a speedo corrector to get the right reading. Or you can go with a GPS speedometer and save the wiring, there are lots of those on eBay for as little as $20. The '23 Sports will supposedly have the same all-TFT digital dash as the '21 Rogue and '22 Pathy for an option, but it won't be possible to retrofit. The TFT clusters are VIN-registered to the vehicle and can't be swapped like a standard cluster.

Not the Sport, only the regular Rogue. The Sport design hasn't been updated yet. Supposedly that will be '23.

Just curious, is this your first vehicle or something? Because many vehicles, both new and old, don't offer digital speedos.

Yah, the vast majority of the Sport's hardware is identical to the later gen2 Rogues. No doubt the redux will borrow from the gen3 whenever it finally arrives.

BTW, both the Rogue and the new Sport are supposed to be getting an optional 3-cyl turbo. Our TSR came in driving a pre-production model in a Rogue on his last visit, and I must say, it's very smooth and very ballsy. I would definitely own one.

Seriously? Never seen a car without it???
I have owned over 20 vehicles in my time on earth and have never owned one WITH one. I guess I can't miss what I have never had.
