When the Nissan Micra was offered on the Canadian Market for the year model 2015, altought there was a mention of the cabin air filter in the documentation, no Nissan Micra was equipped with an actual filter, regardless of the year (2015-2020). In 2016, Nissan erased any reference to a cabin air filter from the brochure. The compartment for the filter was there, behind the center console. Many of us, Micra owners tried to obtain a filter from Nissan dealerships, but they refused. We had a part number from Europe, because Micras there were equipped with the filter and many of us were able to fit a filter from Europe. So, it is not totally impossible that Nissan "forgot" to install an actual filter in the 2021 Rogue. Not their first lie and/or corners cut.
