Oil cap
Though the leak from oil change when the dealer put in oil...clean up the oil and started it see the area around the cap wet with oil...dunno if that is normal.....Though maybe the oil cap maybe loose so tighten it and after few weeks see the area wet again....

Mine never did that in 12 years. If the dealership did that with a funnel, then their mechanics are either incompetent or blind.

If it’s seeping thru there because of a defect, then all I can say is that craftsmanship has gone down the tubes. First the paint, now this.

I would take the cap off and clean the rubber seal and inside the filler neck real good and then all the surrounding area. Then I would snug the cap back on and see if any seepage returns.

Really, Nissan makes you remove the plastic shroud on the bottom? They really want to make it a pain in the a$$ to change oil. Always hated those plastic rivets which I always end up breaking, thank god I only need to take it off once in a blue moon for draining my coolant, :inoutgay:

It's a 21 model. I'd be dealing with the service manager.

We're knowledgeable, but realistically, there should be no pressure there, so there should be no leakage. Pull the cap and put your palm over the opening while it's running. If you feel pressure, something's real wrong.
