I have a 2020 Nissan Kicks SR with key fob. I’m trying to do the IPDM self test. I push the start button with my foot off the brake, push the the door switch 10 times, turn the car off and back on again and nothing happens. I saw another video that says to push door switch 20 times and hold it in, turn car off and back on, this didn’t work either. What am I doing wrong? Trying to verify if the IPDM is controlling the AC compressor clutch properly.

The 10-push is the right procedure for almost the whole Nissan line, ignition on, 10 presses, ignition off and then back on. I'll have to check if there's anything different about Auto Active on the Kicks. I don't have ASIST here at home, but I'll be at the shop on Tuesday. Bump this thread and remind me, I'll look it up for you.

I just looked pretty hard through the ESM and I can't find any reference to Auto Active test on the Kicks. I don't think it has one, go figure.

On further investigation, it looks like it's gone on most or all of the newest models. Nissan seems to be eliminating it a model at a time. Blue light special in the Incredibly Dumb S#!t Department.
