Hello,

Hoping someone can help me with this, my 2018 versa note has started rough idling (drops to about 500 rpm and chugs every 20 seconds or so) before picking back up whenever the heat or AC is on. Google searching has led me to believe the likely culprit is a dirty IAC valve and while I've found none for my specific model it looks easy enough to clean on cars in general on YouTube, but they all mention there's a chance your gasket will break when removing it so make sure you have a backup. I've been searching and calling around for days and can't even find a part number for one let alone the part itself. Does anyone have any thoughts on if this is the right route to take and/or ideas on how to find the gasket? (I'm in Canada if it matters)

There's no IAC or FIC on an '18. Chances are you have a dirty MAF, a sticky throttle body, or both. Try the MAF first, it's a lot easier to access than the throttle plate.
