Coming from the offroading community I know this is a dreaded question, but trying to see if anyone has direct experience fitting slightly larger tires on their Gen II Rogue.

The vehicle currently has the stock 225/60R18. Alloy wheels are 18X7.

We need to replace the all seasons that are on it now, and I am only remotely considering this because a friend traded in his CRV and forgot that he had a nearly brand new pair of all seasons, 235/60R18.

Saves me from buying new tires, and keeps him from throwing them in the trash.

The measurements aren't too far off:
Diameter, 29.1" instead of 28.6"
Width, 9.3", instead of 8.9"
Sidewall, 5.6" instead of 5.3"

The one thing that concerns me the most is the almost 1/2 inch increase in width, the 1/4 inch of sidewall ride height doesn't seem too bad.

I will be taking it down to the tire shop to try, but I can save my time if people have already tried this fitment and it rubbed or just didn't work.

You will be fine, typically if you are within 3% of the overall diameter and you are only at 1.7%. I bet you won't even notice the height difference.

To be honest, most tire manufactures use the same size molds and relabel them with a different size(within 10mm increments)

ie, same molds can be used for 225 and 235.

Thanks for the response, I thought so too, but then I started over thinking it.

I will respond back here after I get them installed next week so someone else with a similar question has a direct reference if they find this thread in a search.

Update. Tires are mounted and balanced. They fit, don't rub, no perceptible change in drivability.
