2018 Rogue radio showing TA interrupt and playing local radio station

We have a 2018 Rogue midnight edition. While listening to Sirius XM or Bluetooth, we are interrupted by a local radio station cutting in, showing the words "TA interrupt" on the top of the screen.

I've done an extensive search, and I have seen one or two Murano posts saying that it is a setting in Sirius XM. If this is the case, the setting might have disappeared with recent radio updates, because there is no setting relating to TA interrupts. I understand that it is some sort of traffic advisory, and it seems that the radio is switching and FM channel that it believes is playing traffic information. But that's only a guess.

I'm just trying to avoid reaching out to the dealer, if it's something I can take care of myself.

I’m in a 2019 rental and I’m having the same thing happen. I’ve searched like you and came up empty. Did you ever get this resolved? It’s making my vacation drive boring with no music.

Have you tried turning the Traffic Alerts off?

Thank you but I don't have that settings option. Maybe because the car doesn't have NAV.

It goes in for oil change soon, will get it checked out then. Just can't believe more aren't having same issue.

Same thing here, no navigation and those options aren’t available.

Have you tried calling the dealer? just feels like something we should be able to fix ourselves without getting them involved.

To me it sounds like this isn't a hardware issue, but caused by a signal from Sirius XM. I would try contacting Sirius XM for assistance.
