Hey guys,
Does anyone have any cool phone holder suggestions? I know they sell a nice clip that goes over the hazards button, but i feel like that a bad spot.
I'm looking for something that possibly attaches inbetween the trim and pass airbag? to the right of the radio.
Pref something that doesnt glue on.. do they have anything that slides into the little slit there?

I bought one of these:

I have it in a different position but you can move it anywhere on the windshield. Works fine for me.

thanks for the pics and info.
yea, i saw those as well. but i would like something that is wedged, and maybe attached inside the slit in there vs gluing.
They used to make it for older Rogues. but i dont see the new gen product :(

i'm talking about something like this... but for a 2018.

You can easily remove the leather panel next to the radio. That will allow putting a large magnet behind the leather for a strong magnetic mount, or making a neat hole to install a permanent ball mount that's retained from behind. Rogue center stacks are about the easiest to disassemble in the whole industry, you'll need a #2 phillips and a finesse tool (nylon pry bar). To remove that leather panel:
1) Pry out the A/C Control (no screws, just pawls)
2) Remove the righthand dash end-panel (no screws, just pawls)
3) Remove one phillips screw holding the righthand A/C vent, then remove the vent
4) Pry out the entire leather panel (no screws, just pawls)

I have the exact setup you're looking for in my Rogue. I bought a CD slot phone mount (I believe from MPow). The part that goes into the CD slot on this mount was a thin rubber blade (don't get the expandable ones). I cut off the rubber part and underneath it is a long, thin, metal blade. That thin metal blade fits very firmly in the exact gap you want to go into just by force-fitting it in. I then got a short 8" charge cable to go from the USB to the phone so I wouldn't have a long cord dangling around. The CD phone mount was under $20 (CDN). Much cheaper than the Pro Clips custom mounts that you can get and it's been perfect.

Oh wow! You are a genius!
It sits really snug in there? No issues?
I love it! Thank you

Thanks! I thought I was pretty clever figuring that out. It’s incredibly snug. It takes a bit of effort to slide it in but it’s never budged.

I have not used this one. But, many years ago, I did use a similar mount from the same company.

https://pro-fit-intl.com/collections/ni ... e-g3-mount

It's similar to the CD Slot mounting adaptation, but meant for that exact same spot. Make sure to look at the directions PDF file.

I had similar from them on an old F-150 and Odyssey long before my Rogue. Just using a vent mount now.
