2018 QX80 adaptive cruise control sensor replacement

Has anyone replaced the adaptive cruise control sensor in their QX80? Part number 28438-4GA3B? Does this need reprogramming or can I simply swap it out with a replacement from Ebay (assume the replacement is a good part)? Thanks in advance!

On an '18 a new unit would need both configuration and aiming. The configuration is just an internal part number, but it needs to be saved from the old unit if possible, or if the unit is dead then loaded using a number obtained from the parts catalog. With a used unit you may get away without any of that if the radar comes out of a same MY donor with similar options. Check with the eBay vendor, if it's a JY then most of them can give you the donor VIN.
