Hey everybody does anybody know if a 2018 red sport motor will fit in a 2018 TwinTurbo q50?
Obviously, the motor motor is a little bit different a bigger turbos. There’s some features that are upgraded in the red sport with a wiring harness be issue plugging it into the Q 50? well, I need to change the transmission as well?

The motor and turbo's should be the same. The Red Sport turbo sensors are different and it has dual intercooler water pumps vs. single. I don't know if the ECU for your standard Q50 would automatically support the Red Sport differences or not. I also don't know if there is a physical change needed to support the dual water pumps or modifying it back to one.

Obviously you could swap the motor in and keep all the other components including your existing turbo sensors. You may have to take it to Infiniti afterward to have everything reset to the new motor.

An ECU flash might be a much cheaper and simpler first step. Would be interesting to see what numbers you got out of the car afterwards. As always, Martin of RSEnthalpy is the guru to consult with.
