Sorry to start with a dumb question, but is the cd player in my brand new 2018 pathfinder a 1 cd player or does it hold 6 cds? It appears from the display there there are 6 buttons for cds, but perhaps I am mistaken? I can find nothing in my manuals.

And if it does hold 6 cds, how do I load more than 1?

Most likely a provision for an add on remote player. I have a similar provision, and a remote player in the trunk of my Infiniti J30t. The dash unit takes a single CD, the remote, in my case, has provision for 15 CDs.

MikeRL411 is correct, the dash unit takes a single CD. The 1~6 is for radio station memory.
