2017 towing capabilities

Curious to know if any have exceeded the suggested 1500 pound maximum on the 2016 or 2017 models?

The Murano has been equipped with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) since it went into production 15 years ago, so the specs really haven't changed. Exceeding the maximum towing limit is definitely NOT recommended. While you may get away with it over short distances, in the long run you run the risk of doing serious damage to the CVT.
