Hello all

New user on this site and got a question. I have a 2017 Rouge Sl Awd recently I have lost all fuel mileage with it i am at 10.7 l / 100 km in eco mode.
We noticed that it is staying in awd up to about 75-80 kmh but also has no power at all on acceleration from 20- 40 kmh. Its been to Nissan several times with no help saying they can't do anything if there's no code in it and wait till something fails. Anyone have any ideas on this i have 66,500 km on it and have owned it since 11,000km

21 MPG that's what I've been getting for years, first with 2017, now with the 2019. It was worse with my 2009. It all depends, I can get up to 30 all-highway, or down to 14-15 city driving. My commute is mostly Los Angeles freeways, so nowadays I am getting 22-23 with less gridlock, but 21 is perfectly normal for a Rogue AWD in combined cycle. Also, I am having a hard time imagining how the "stuck in AWD" is indicated. Is the light on the AWD toggle on? Is the AWD dash light on? My understanding is that even though it is AWD, the power is normally delivered to the front wheels, with rear connecting when needed -- when slipping or accelerating. Power distribution can be monitored via the i4x4 screen on VID.

Yes I agree with you but here's the issue when watching the 4x4 I screen you can see it even when coasting at 20% to the rears and 80% front and doesn't go to all front till over 80 kmh where before once we got over 30 is was off

Oh, I see. Well, this may be an issue. I'll watch mine tomorrow when I commute. The Rogue is an interesting beast, though. I just noticed sometime back, that when turning into a steep driveway, it hesitates for a second, feels like stalling, flooring it does nothing. The second time it happened I noticed the AWD light come on momentarily, so it is probably making up its mind.

Sounds like the solenoid in the rear end is stuck in AWD. Only way to fix it is to replace the solenoid.

Yeah...that's not normal at all. Good luck with getting it fixed.
