21 MPG that's what I've been getting for years, first with 2017, now with the 2019. It was worse with my 2009. It all depends, I can get up to 30 all-highway, or down to 14-15 city driving. My commute is mostly Los Angeles freeways, so nowadays I am getting 22-23 with less gridlock, but 21 is perfectly normal for a Rogue AWD in combined cycle. Also, I am having a hard time imagining how the "stuck in AWD" is indicated. Is the light on the AWD toggle on? Is the AWD dash light on? My understanding is that even though it is AWD, the power is normally delivered to the front wheels, with rear connecting when needed -- when slipping or accelerating. Power distribution can be monitored via the i4x4 screen on VID.
