I'm torn between buying a Rogue SL and a Murano Platinum. Really like the Murano, but I'm pretty tall, so unless there's a way to lower the seats in the Murano further than they already go with the power adjustments, I'm stuck with the Rogue I think.

I've test driven two different Rogues, at different dealerships, that were brand new. Both times, with the moonroof completely closed, the car was very quiet and hushed except for a pretty annoying noise from the wind rushing over the moonroof at highway speeds (anything above 40mph or so). I spoke to a friend of mine who owns a new Rogue, and he says he doesn't hear anything like that in his. I'm going to have to go with him on a drive soon to see if I can hear anything in his.

Anyone else run into this? If so, do you think it's something a wind deflector just in front of the moonroof might be able to mitigate?

I have a 2014 and no wind noise near the moonroof. I doubt they changed something in that area unless they tried correction all the squeeking noises people were complaining about.

Did this Rogue have the roof rack cross rails? If so that is what you were hearing. I have 2016 Rogue SL and I don't hear any noise from the moonroof.

Interesting....no, the cars I test drove didn't have the crossrails, although that would certainly be a plausible explanation i'd think.
