2017 Rogue liftgate

2017 Rogue SL AWD. Power liftgate will chime/activate and open 2-3 inches before reversing and closing. Activation with fob or button on the dashboard. The liftgate can be opened manually and will stay open without sagging. No chime and unable to activate closure of the liftgate with either the fob or dashboard button. No change with resetting the fuse for the liftgate.

If the reset won't do it then chances are you have a bad encoder in one of the struts. You'll need to get codes out of the ABD Controller to find out what's wrong.
