Totally understand that OE is the best to use as it's 100% compatible but I mention in my opening post that I'm looking for an OE alternative as it's not the most economical or in some cases, even available. I'm curious as to what others use in their Rogues, especially for my year, 2017, or equivalent.datechboss101 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 09, 2018 11:29 amFor fluids it doesn't matter what brand you use, ONLY IF the fluid is the correct SPEC that works with the vehicle. Typically I use OE fluid (Nissan, Honda, Acura, etc) for the respective vehicle.
Management is looking into updating the FSM section. Nissan North America (NNA) revamped their sections for manuals which has complicated matters, not to mention that we also have to pay to access them. Unfortunately there isn't a date yet on when this will be completed, so just keep checking.
Not as bad as how much Honda is asking just to have a day access for their manuals!Rogue One wrote: ↑Tue Nov 03, 2020 6:10 amManagement is looking into updating the FSM section. If your need is urgent, you can pony up $19.99 and get a one day subscription to view the 2017 Nissan Rogue Service Manual online from NNA. Or for a mere $210.00 you can get a copy sent to you on CD.
In the meantime a lot of the info in the 2016 Rogue FSM will still apply to your car.
