Anybody have any ideas of changes to gas caps between 2016 and 2017?
I can find the Stant 10504 for 16, but they claim will not work on the 17. Shrug?

:welcome: to NICO! Congrats on your new Frontier. If I were researching this, I'd go to Nissan's parts web site. https://parts.nissanusa.com

You can search to see if the factory part number is different between 2016 and 2017. If they're the same, I'd think that Stant's parts list just hasn't been updated for this year's models.

Wow. Did not have that web resource. Thanks! Conflicting info, but looks like it is the same cap. They changed numbers
for whatever reason.

My 3RD Frontier. 4 banger SV! After 2 4.0 trucks it is different, but I just needed to haul stuff. Seems to work fine so far!
At least they were willing to sell me one. Unlike the Tacoma Terrorists! Long story...

2015 Altima SV 2.5 (CVT still working)
1993 Pathfinder XE 4X4 (everything still working)

Yeah it's pretty nice... I think it's the FAST software the parts guys have always used. You might buy the locking cap somewhere that's cool about taking returns. Every time I buy a car and have to deal with a dealer, I remember why I keep cars so long... Besides being cheap. Did it twice this year with the 4Runner and then my Mother in law's Rogue.

Thought I should report back. Got the Stant #10504 listed for previous
Frontier years and it works fine. No codes, no leaks and no big explosions.

Locking cap is no big deal, but keeps the neighbors honest.

Thanks for the update. I've never had an issue, but now that I've said that, I'm going to have vultures with siphons circling my driveway tonight. :squint:
