Let that truck stay in their parking lot for a few months then they will get soft on the price tag. Probably not for the 2017 model though....I think 2017 model will be gone soon enough. If you really want that machine, well...
My dealer here will not offer any price less than MSRP. and their inventory stays in their parking lot for only a few days before some one purchases it. They don't need a lot of people in the area to know about Nissan Patrol, 1 in 1000 is good enough to move their inventory fast enough. I didn't even bother to negotiate the price.
Of course we all want that beautiful machine. But we have the winning card, we don't have to buy it today.
The armadas, at least here in TX, have been on lots for close to 2 months now. I've followed the inventory closely and it doesn't seem like anyone is buying them, as the same original release models are still there.
I've never paid over invoice for a Nissan/Infiniti (4 new purchases), so the idea of paying anywhere close to MSRP is foreign to me. There is such huge holdback on these cars and huge money to be made on NMAC loans on 60k vehicles for dealers not to discount them even without manufacturer incentives. It's just such an odd situation.
