Hello been following this thread for a while.

here is my version on a my 2017.5 SL
















I have blacked out all chrome trim with factory paint..still need to do the roof rack. All interior lighting is LED, LED fogs, and front blinkers.
Ebay pedals , Strut Brace, Front and Rear sway bars, drilled rotors, R1 Brake pads. Wheels are next and possibly lower it with the Eibach springs depend how the wheels look. Future plans include a set of G37 Rotors with AKEBONO Calipers.

Finally got my Work Schwert SC2 Powder coated and mounted. Specs 19x8.5 +38 Front 245/50/19 19x9.5 +43 Rear 255/50/19

Thanks for replying to my question on my thread. Decided to snoop around your posts to see if you had threads with pictures and wow. That’s the look I’m going for. Now I’m confident 19x9.5 +45 should fit all around with no issues. I’m going for the same size tires as well.

Cool, I still would try to stick with less than a 9.5 in front. I have pics of my 17 with my 18x9.5 +38 wedsport from my 08 on the front and it looked kinda dorky.....

Nice job looks good. I have a 2018 as well and I'm looking into getting some new wheels. What would you say is the widest I could go on a 19 or 20 inch rim? Are you having any rubbing problems or are you even close?

You can easily go as tall/wide as 20x8.5 +35 to +40 with no problems. For a better ride (my opinion) Id stick with 19x 8.5-9 front(although you could go 9.5....offset is the key) 19x 8.5-9.5 rear. I have a staggered set-up with corresponding offsets, No rubbing problems.

Nice ride. Makes me appreciate my wife’s midnight edition sv. Since the warranty is up I’m gonna dress the calipers and rotors up. I was thinking of red calipers but I like the blue a lot.

I can’t seem to find any calipers that aren’t insanely expensive and mine came with akebono stock. I’m waiting on blue caliper paint to be delivered and will get to work ASAP. I’m also gonna install a rear bumper protector but had no luck finding a black one so had to go with diamond plate. Not sure if it can be painted or not? Either way my midnight has some chrome accents so I’m sure it’ll look ok.

Looks wonderful, but you still need to black out the roof rack with paint or truck bed-liner.

Also get tinted license plate covers. It's illegal where I am at and I got pulled over for it with a warning once. I still keep them on front and back because the cops here are pretty cool with it and don't usually stop me for it.

Thanks...I have just been b.s.ing on the roof rack. Gonna get it done.....I , like most most of you out there...got so many projects that it keeps getting bumped. My 08 still has the silver rack and my daughter keeps bugging me about it.....probably do both at the same time.

The feeling of satisfaction after doing the mods is well satisfying.

Thank god you got rid of the side mounted plate because it was ugly as hell.

I mean it’s practical if you had a winch but I never liked them even on sports cars.

If you don’t need a front plate, all the better. But the middle is geometrically more pleasing to the eye.
