If you're getting it installed professionally, they should know what they're doing.
If you're doing it yourself, please study the FSM in detail and make sure you know what it's used for and what could happen if something were to go wrong. Factory warranty won't cover issues caused by an aftermarket remote starter install, hence why a professional may be advisable.
