I've got at 2016 Rouge and I really want the manual mode that's available on the 2017 and newer models. From looking at parts online it looks like the shifters from the '16 and '17 models are interchangeable, but I'm wondering if I'd need to swap out the ECU or TCU potently to get the manual mode functionality in the computer. Or would I maybe need to flash new firmware onto my existing ECU?
