You mean you've never napped while you were driving???Rogue Jarhead wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2016 5:38 pmI'd be ok with no cameras, crank windows, no radio and a six speed stick but that's just me. All these high tech toys are going to make for an entire generation of people who can't do anything other than hold the steering wheel. It's almost that bad now. Driving has become a chore instead of fun. Pretty soon it'll be get in punch in a destination and take a nap, tesla is almost there now.
I watch people back out of their parking spots. They never even look behind them they rely exclusively on the camera (s). I've got a (1) camera in my rogue, I use it to check if there are any 3 ft kids immediately behind me and then I turn around so I can see what's back there.
As far as avoidance systems, I usually drive with my eyes open looking ahead, scanning left to right. I always assumed everyone else did the same maybe I was wrong.
Care to elaborate?outtolearn88 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2017 10:53 amTheses FORUM's are becoming a BIG JOKE !

What's with the spamming of the same repetitive stuff in almost every thread? Can you please elaborate this more clearly, and also if you got an issue, there is something called TURNING OFF the system. Also, ever heard of Dodge's marketing strategy and having crappy poor customer service?Gradofan wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2017 3:32 pmAs I posted in another thread here re: FEB. - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY - IT DOESN'T WORK AS ADVERTISED BY NISSAN!
We have the 2017.5 SL with all the upgrades (Premium / Platinum) and you are correct - THE FEB SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED, OR PRESENTED IN THE MANUALS - which clearly show the vehicle warning you about 4 car lengths ahead of impact, gentle braking 3 car lengths ahead of impact and stopping you about 1/2 car length ahead of impact with the object in front of you.
There is no misunderstanding - it simply doesn't work as advertised and represented by Nissan.
This one is going to lead to some large class action suits!
I barely use my around view monitor system, as I love to drive any car (except any Toyota). At the most, only a back-up camera is needed, but nonetheless this is a technology age, not the craftsman age, where vehicles are becoming smartphones on wheels.Rogue Jarhead wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2016 5:38 pmI'd be ok with no cameras, crank windows, no radio and a six speed stick but that's just me.
