Really neat enhancements there. That blue flame exhaust tip, is it a double wall 24017bf?

Thanks!

Isn't it the law that you need to have red showing on the taillights?

:rotfl :rotfl :rotfl

Explain to me how red housing has advantage over clear housing? Last time I checked the brake lights light up red, the turn signals orange and the reverse white. Oh and the output is 10x brighter than oem. That's even an understatement.

Drinking at 18 is illegal too but ok to die for your country. Perhaps you're right...it's against the law just like hanging an air freshener on your rear view mirror is also against the law. There are a lot of laws. Do you have a degree in law...because I can show you mine.

Easy tough guy. :rotflmao I was just asking a question.

Good luck with that law degree when your argument is about the drinking age :rotfl

You are not worth any more time.

Rogue203, you know you can answer people and be nice at the same time right? Multitasking is not reserved to women.

Since you seen to have a law degree, I invite you to read the following text: "FMVSS-108" or "SAE J578".
Look it up, you will see Darylzero is right, you need to have red showing on your tail lights even when unlit. The only car I can think of right now (and I am sure there are others) is the Prius which has clear tail lights with red LED's BUT still have a red reflector in the housing.

Any tail light without the stamp DOT/SAE is by definition illegal, no matter the color. Of the 2 sets you bought, the red one is the least illegal. Is there any mention of DOT/SAE somewhere on the housing? If it comes from China, I doubt it.

Don't feel offended when someone asks a legitimate question, it's not personal.

Other than that, I like your mods and what you did to your car, it's nice and subtle. Keep showing pictures, you may inspire others.

Regardless of legality which I don't really care about they sure are nice. My tinted front headlights and fogs I am sure are far from legal but I like the way they look. I haven't been hassled yet but since it is static cling tint it's easily removable. I have already added a number of the items that you have brought to our attention and have a few of my own like the stainless speaker trim rings and the trim rings for the reflectors on the back bumper as they add a nice touch. How do you get the nice clear pictures in the post? What hosting service do you use?

@noms23; sounds good will get on that when I get some time in the next few days and pm you

@maynardo; I really wasn't trying to offend anyone. I appreciate your sarcasm; seems as though no one understood mine. The point I was trying to make is that anything you do can be illegal whether it be a loud exhaust, car too low, windows too dark, not having a front plate, smoking out or clearly having clear tail lights. If I was worried about legality, I'd have kept wifey's car stock and we wouldn't have this thread. I do appreciate your legal concerns for me. However, I like my cars like I like my women, modified. On that note I still have the LEGAL version of these lights for sale if anyone is interested.

@frzninvt; Thanks bud Pictures are taken from my iPhone 6s nothing fancy. Hosting site is photobucket.

Wow so the running lights double as turn signals? I would have hoped they'd use separate lights for each. Either way, those clear lights look badass on your Rogue

@ following; ya they double up...the rest of the unlit parts are the brake lights (3 parts) thanks again the red would look just as good on yours if you decide to ever scoop them up lol...

@frijolito; I will get one eventually when I have another person engage all the lights while I record plus I have to remove the plate bc i don't want it showing either...might wait till the exhaust comes in before I do full video either way you should definitely get them

That exhaust looks really slick, it is really nice.
I would be curious to know if you feel your car behaves differently with it (in a good way).

Well the install was the easiest exhaust I've ever done in my life. The factory exhaust is all once piece compromised of 4 hangers and two bolts that connect the muffler pipe to the catalytic converter. Once the two bolts came off I just slipped all the hangers off and it all came out in one piece. Removal time about 15 minutes with jack. The hks exhaust on the other hand is a 3 piece exhaust and came with one gasket for the section meeting the cat and two o ring gaskets which I've yet to see such design but it's absolutely fantastic. Fitment overall was perfect in every way. Worth every damn penny. No loose ends, missing bolts or cheap rattle. The weight alone is prolly twice as light as the oem junk they threw on this car. I didn't get a chance to fire it up because the baby's sleeping but here's a quick teaser of what it looks like installed. On the other hand my scooter came in so I will be doing a full build on that over the winter months and leaving the rogue alone for now. (Wifey says enough :rotfl ) If you guys hear from me again it might be next summer if I decide to get some wheels. I wanted to finish this car and keep it simple since next summer I will be getting rid of my q60 coupe for either a 370z or a gt-r if I can find one in the low 60/high 50k range. I'll still pop in here and there but for now I'm done.

That looks so sexy. How does it ride and handle with the new suspension, compared to how it was stock?

And perhaps a more important question.... Can you provide a link to those springs? I cannot find the appropriate ones online, even searching for the xtrail. I just see lift springs

Thanks. The ride is great. Stiffer and glued around turns. Doesn't feel loose or wabbly like before. Strut bar helps too. Cant seem to find the springs either. All I see is the lift ones

Well where did you get them? Lol.

I have the strut bar too, but perhaps the springs will solve some of my woes.

You sure you got the sportline springs and not the pro kit?

I found this for the pro kit http://www.ebay.com/itm/Eibach-Pro-Kit- ... 1383617429

Great! After install was it easy for an alignment shop/dealer/wherever you took it, to get the alignment back into spec 100%? Or are adjustable control arms, etc. Necessary?

Thanks!

Didn't end up needing the adjustable camber bolt. Just an alignment will do.

Well it's been a while since I been on here haven't done anything else. The hks exhaust I got from hks directly from Japan. Price... you don't want to know. Will someone take the led tails off me. At this point the dust on the box will cost more in shipping than the actually tail lights. 250 takes them let me know.

Gorgeous Rogue, killer stance and love the exhaust. I have the same color combo and have added many of your suggested items sans the springs & exhaust. I am working on blacking out my rear tails to match the fronts.
