Yeah, Nissan confirmed that the current Rogue doesn't have remote start as part of the connect package.
I am going to wait for the 2017 model which will have it and also look into Mazda CX5.
Don't want an aftermarket remote start. That's what my wife has on her 2012 Rogue. The dealer reimbursed us $500 to have it installed at a 3rd party shop. Back then other models had remote start but again the Rogue did not. Dealer said they don't install any remote starters. So we got an outside install and it took awhile and cost right about $500. It still works but it's not great. Its just a basic starter with it's own keyfob, mediocre range, no confirmation, etc...The factory systems that you can control from your phone are much better.
