Guys, as I am a car enthusiast, and I sort of have a love-hate thing with my 2016 Rogue, I might as well, customize it and make this a show car once I get a new car. Also, please don't hesitate to chip in with any suggestions!

I got some list of modifications that I would like to do in the next few years as I am a college student:
1) Switch from 18s to 19s
2) Drop the ride height by 3-4 inches
3) Convert all the lights
4) Modify the HU software
5) Modify the QR25 engine

More mod ideas to come once I have a budget and time!

A little update to this thread... Found a few things that I am actually excited to install on my Rogue:
1) Stillen Cat-Back Exhaust
2) STR 607 18in Rims
3) HID Low beams, LED High beams & Fog lights
4) Air Lift Suspension's 3S or 3P kit
5) Clazzio Seat covers
6) Dechrome all of the chrome on the exterior
7) Black out the aluminum polish on the vents
8) New Head unit that supports Android Auto
9) Tint the taillights

This will be achieved in the course of the next few years and I will post a before and after photo/video for each install.

Finally got around modifying the Rogue this holiday season. I ordered Precision LED H11 Low-beam headlights (includes a kit) for $110 since they had a sale going on and installed it few days ago. The difference was day and night. However, the fog lights doesn't look premium now after this install. The system was a plug-n-play type which didn't took long after we got the first light out.

Next modification is coming in the next few months!

Did you ever manage to get the new head unit installed with Android auto functioning properly? I have a 2015 I've been dying to upgrade, I just need to know if it'll work the way I want it to...

I just contacted Carbontastic, and they sent me a link for a modified steering wheel which I am planning to do soon. It costs $900, which I currently don't have right, and its near to OEM wheel, but with better quality. (I have no clue if Nissan uses Vinyl or fake leather), but the leather on my steering wheel has worn out and it is super rough and harsh, making me want to replace this steering wheel material.

Not yet, since dealers are literally asking an arm and leg for the headunit itself. But slowly sometime in the future, I will find a great aftermarket HU that isn't Chinese but supports the 360 camera system and has Android Auto.

I know this is an old post, but... This might help someone. I picked up a 2016 Rogue Sport recently. Pretty standard but I noticed a couple of things; the front usb input port was dead and the stereo had Android auto and carplay `greyed out` in the menu. Did a bit of sleuthing amd took out the original stereo. I found two cables disconnected, one for the XM antenna and the other for the usb input. I connected with to the head unit and just like that Android auto and apple car came to life. I even dropped a video showing this on you tube. Good luck all.

Thanks for that. BTW, could you please post the link to your YouTube video?

Converting the headlights to plug and play led’s is the cheapest and best upgrade you can do. Not just on the rogue but any car. I did my 09 and the wife’s rogue for less than $100 for low and hi beams and what a difference. We live in the country and deer dodging is a true sport out here.
