2016 Q50 Tire Suggestions?

In 2014, the G37 Sedan became Infiniti Q50. G37 Coupe and Convertible became Infiniti Q60 under Infiniti's new naming structure - Here's the place to discuss the Q50 and Q60!

Hey guys. I just bought a 2016 Q50 red sport a couple months back and I'm loving it! It's currently fitted with some brand new Lionhart LH Five rubbers from the dealership. They are spanking new so that's nice, but I know there's better tires out there. Any suggestions??

:welcome:

Recommendation found elsewhere on the internet.
Many members are running the Michelin Pilot Super Sports on their Q's and I think everybody has had positive feedback.

I run ContiExtreme DWS06 on my Q50s as I drive it in the winter. My Q60RS I run Michelin PS4S for the summer and swap back to the crappy runflats for winter.

I have a winter set (Milwaukee and sometimes Cody WY,) which are Pirelli Sottozero Wintersports (- sp.) and a summer set Continental Extreme Contact Sport. The Pirellis are awesome for winter. I had the car in Cody WY, January through March and on mountain roads and in ice storms they never faltered. The Extreme Contacts grip perfectly in the wet and really perfectly in the dry...REMEMBER though, if your temps are below 45 they will take a while to heat up and grip correctly. They are NOT meant for colder weather. I found that out the other day when it was 40 out and I hit an on ramp. I will say the car slid in a very controllable way, very neutral.

Just my two cents

I've driven on Hankook V12 and Michelin Pilot Super Sports in sub-30 degree weather and can vouch for them being a bit squirrelly until they warm up :)
