I have a 2015 Rogue SV AWD with the I-key light on after a vehicle battery replacement. I have replaced the battery in the FOB, it was only a month old at this point. All I-key functions work just fine, all buttons on FOB, door lock/unlock from handle, push button start all work. Dead FOB start up mode works, Nissan label on FOB against start button. Everything still works, but, the light is on. Any ideas? Reluctant to take it to the dealer as they wanted $120 to reset the driver window switch.

If everything works fine drive it for a couple of days, the light may go out on its own. A low voltage (dead battery) often results in weird things happening to modern vehicles with their multitude of unneeded electronic qizmos.

By resetting the window for $120, are we talking about the hold the window switch down and then run it back up reset? Or something else?

Sorry for the late reply, been crazy at work. The I-key light is intermittent, it was on this morning on my way to work but off last night on my way home.

And yes, window down and back up reset.

That’s outrageous, something like that ought to be a goodwill gesture. Generating confidence from customers in the technicians know how and abilities. Instead people feel that dealers are just out to stick them any way possible. Which is the exact reason you are reluctant to take your vehicle to a dealership.
