2015 Rogue SL Radio Retained ACC Wire

Hey guys,

Hoping one of you could help me out here. I installed an aftermarket radio for my uncle today and all went well but the metra harness red 12v switched accessory wire provided nothing. I ended up having to use a fuse tap out of the fuse box.

Problem is, everything single wire / circuit I tested didn't use the retained circuit. I want the radio / amps I installed to stay on when he shuts the car off until he opens the driver door.

I really want to get this working. I was thinking I may have to find the power windows wire to source from.

Any better ideas?

The Power Window Relay is directly underneath the radio. See PWC-6 here:

The Blue wire out of the relay is the main window supply, the relay is how the BCM cuts RAP to the windows. However, be aware that RAP on the gen2 Rogue is only 45 seconds duration and can't be programmed for longer.

So one of those 2 little plugs which plug into the climate control cluster contains a blue wire which I can use for RAP acc? That's incredible if so.

No, it's not in the climate control panel, it's behind it. There's a small rack of relays screwed backward to the base of the centerstack, right behind the panel. The rack will have 2~3 relays depending on options, one of them is the Power Window Relay. You can identify it by wire colors, it will have Green and White coil wires and Pink and Blue contact wires. The Blue contact wire is window RAP.

One thing though bud. My uncle said he recalls the radio and windows staying on for an additional 15 minutes or so. He could be wrong. This the non select Rogue 2015 SL. He may be mistaken. He said he'll try it.
