Hi All -
Just picked up a 2015 Rogue SL with Premium Package, love it! Only 4000 miles on her.

Strage thing, I found the 2015 Rogue Brochure online and it lists two items my SL with Premium Package Should have but does not
  • - Auto Dimming Rear-view Mirror
    - Power 4-Way Front Passenger seat
Here is a snippet of the brochure www(DOT)imgur(DOT)com/R0BFsrZ (Can't post links for some reason)
:wtf2:

Is that a misprint or did the dealer swap out parts before the sale? :gotme

PS - Also says my Rogue has a "Dual Subwoofer" Bose Radio. I see the one on the spare tire, where is the other?

Thanks all and sorry if this has already been answered before, I searched but nothing relevant came up. I'll keep looking in the meantime

Removing factory installed equipment at random is not done by any dealership as far as I know. Kind of pointless, and not cost effective. If you had searched this forum before posting, you would have discovered that the mirror upgrade, while standard on a first gen model in the SL trim level, is no longer the case for the second gen. The only way to get it is to have the dealer install it, or place a custom order direct from the factory.

As for the power passenger seat, if you read the fine print in the owners manual, you will find the usual disclaimers about features and options being subject to change without notice. In short, while Nissan may have originally intended for that feature to be on the car, it was omitted, but they most likely had the books at the printers before that decision was made.

BTW, we have an incredible SEARCH feature on this forum.

Thanks for the reply, only reason I think they did something funny is because when I was looking over the car before purchase, I noticed someone removed the sub-woofer over the spare tire, removed the front tow hitch cover and the GPS SD Card. I refused to buy the car unless all 3 were replaced on the spot. They did it.

So If Those these items were taken by someone at the dealer, I started wondering what else they may have scavenged from the car.

thanks

Unlike the mirror and seat, those items are easily removed, so a few things come to mind.

It's entirely possible that particular vehicle was not properly secured and the missing items were removed by someone that gained access to the lot after hours.

While it's not unusual for a Rogue to be shipped sans map card, it would be more unusual for that many items to be missing at the outset. The more likely scenario is that you bought a donor car. If another vehicle was missing an item, the dealership needed to rob Peter to pay Paul, and just removed the part from yours in order to sell a vehicle that was missing that part. They most likely ordered the needed missing items, it's just that you decided to buy it before they could make it whole again.

Funny you say that because that's exactly what they did to get the parts that were missing for my car :rotflmao

They said "Oh we have another Silver Rogue on the lot, we will just take parts from that one and put it in yours".

Guess that makes the most sense. Thanks!

Yeah, I believe that goes on all the time. When I bought my Rogue, the salesman just went to another car and grabbed the floor mats and the plastic insert for the cigar lighter that were missing from mine. You're here. We've done the paperwork for this car. We want you to sign on the doted line and drive away NOW. Not tomorrow, when you get a chance to shop at the dealer across the street. I believe its appropriate to run through the entire window sticker after the deal is done, after I have the keys in my hand and can lock it, and before I sign and drive away.

There are two 5" woofers in the spare tire unit. There are videos on youtube that show this and I think it is from a Murano. Regardless, it should be the same Blose unit.

Just remember, if you plan to upgrade your factory stereo with aftermarket stuff, Bose pieces (amps and speakers) DO NOT play well with other gear.
