Picking up my Rogue this weekend. it's about a 7 hour drive home from the dealership...
Figured I'd ask and prepare before the trip.

If I were to burn an MP3 CD, can I put Mp3 files in folders, or must they be in the root directory of the disc? Same question, but with a USB "thumb drive" (32Gb)?

Will the player play music burned to a DVD, or does it only understand CDs?

From my Android cell phone...Is there any difference in sound quality between streaming using Bluetooth, or connecting directly through the micro USB cable (can it even play music from a charging/sync micro USB cable)? If it's not designed to play through the charge/sync cable, is there a difference in sound quality between BT streaming and using an aux cable from the phone's headphone jack?

USB music can be in folders, it still works. Same with android audio streaming over BT. Quality sounds the same to me between both. During playback when my car first starts up, the audio can "lag" or cut out for a second, but is usually fine after 30 seconds of the car being on. The stereos on these cars can be a little glitchy.

Thanks for the reply!!

Is there any way to "pause" USB or Bluetooth (from cellphone) playback? I don't see any type of pause button.

Also, when the USB drive is connected, I can use my voice to ask the system to play a particular song by name. Is there a way to do this when the phone is connected via Bluetooth? It seems that no matter what I ask for, the system only looks in the USB drive, and never looks in the phone.

For bluetooth there should be a pause button on the head unit screen. Actually, come to think of it, it might be a play and stop button...accomplishes the same thing.

Voice control of artist/track only works for USB connected music.
