A couple months ago our 2015 Rogue started making a clattering sound when turning left. It almost sounds like a tail pipe dragging on the ground. It doesn't happen all the time. In fact, it usually takes several attempts to get it to make the noise and sometimes it stops making the noise after 2 seconds and sometimes it keeps clattering for almost 10 seconds after straightening the wheels out. My mechanic has had it up on the hoist twice and can't find anything loose or rubbing. It definitely sounds like it's coming from the driver's side front. The noise could point to a few mechanical issues but we can't start replacing expensive parts until one takes care of it. Anyone else experience this at any time?

Could possibly be the plastic fender liners rubbing wheel when turning. My 08 does that. I've kind of ignored it though I did use some twine to try to hold it back.
