2015 Rogue Blend Door Failure

My blend door actuator gear and blend door gear that meshes to it has grinded themselves and the door no longer moves properly. Is it possible to have just the gear on the blend door replaced without removing the majority of the dash and heat unit?

Nope. Short of replacing the HVAC unit, we've done a couple successful repairs using hard silicone or JB Weld along with vaseline to keep the parts from sticking where they shouldn't. A lot depends on how much is left of the stripped splines.
