I was looking to get the compustar remote starter installed on my new 2015 Nissan Rogue SV. I was curious in how it would work with the intelligent key. If I lock the car with the new starter remote, I shouldn't have any issues with opening the doors with the proximity function? Would it be best I just use the intelligent key for opening and closing doors and the starter remote just for the purpose of starting the car?
Now if I went with the compustar starter/alarm combo, I'd be required to use the starter remote to lock and unlock the car to activate the security system. I definitely then would see an issue where I lock the door with the starter remote and then try to open the door by proximity with the intelligent key and tripping the security system. So complicated! Might just stick with the starter option due to this issue.
And the push button start, any issues with that and the starter?
Thanks for any insight!
