I just bought my pacific sunset platinum end of September. It has 4200 miles. Today while parked to do some Christmas shopping I noticed my air was blowing cold. I proceeded to drive the 5 miles home and about 5 blocks from home my check engine popped on. I turned the corner into my neighborhood and the engine went into safe mode. Lurching forward 5 mph. Smoke started pouring from my engine. I got it to my house and there is antifreeze everywhere. Transmission looks normal no visible cracks. Radiator doesn't appear to have the leakage which leaves the engine. Not how I wanted my first post on here. Dealer made me call a tow truck. I'm pissed. He couldn't even drive it on the tow truck so now my textured bumper has a flex spot on the bumper spoiler!

Greetings foxyred,

I was curious how your engine issue worked out on your 2015 Murano? Sounds like it overheated due to a serious antifreeze leak? Wife just picked up her new 2015 Platnum AWD tonight. She traded in her 2009 LE AWD - 109k miles. Only mentionable issue we had with it in our 7+ years of ownership was an antifreeze leak - it required head gasket replacement at 55k (under warranty of course). Please let the forum know what the issue was and how the dealership handled it. Hopefully everything worked out and/or is being dealt with well and in a timely fashion.

Not sure how we should believe this. Guy had only 1 post and never got back over here. My Mura has almost 20k miles and runs with no issues. Is this a reply you (foxyred) was expecting?
