Only happens when SUV is in park. Driver/passenger doors are closed. I open the 2nd row door either side and the all the lights (interior/exterior) on the vehicle flash sporadically, key not found on dash shows and the beeping. FOR THE LOVE THE BEEPING wont stop until I shut the 2nd row door. Happens on both back doors. any help would help get my sanity.

That's a weird one, but it has to be something affecting the BCM. Both rear door switches have their own wires into the BCM, and the BCM directly controls the interior lighting. The BCM is also the device which reads the I-key signals. Since it's both rear doors, you can rule out stuff like a power short in the door umbilicals. Take a look if there are interior lamps being triggered by the rear doors that don't come on with the fronts, the FSM doesn't specify software functions like that.

Thank you for the information. I can add that I do get the "key not found" on dash periodically. This is outside of my back door issues/lights flashing nonsense.

That can just be from a low fob battery or interference/blocking from something in your pocket (or purse). If it only happens intermittently, I wouldn't worry too much. The main I-key antenna is at the back of the console, often relocating the fob closer to it will help. In my wife's Altie, if I keep my keys in my lefthand pocket I'll get occasional messages whenever the fob battery gets a little low, when they're in my righthand pocket there's never an issue until the fob is flat dead.

I had the batteries updated in the last 6 months. Also the odd thing my fob scenario, when sitting in driver seat with keyfob is in my right pocket.
