2014 Versa note stereo install question

I just threw a new double din stereo in my 2014 versa note. The thing is, that now there are two gaps on the sides of the stereo. I measured and the versa note stereo is slightly wider than the 7 inches of a double din. Is there a kit or something that fixes this, or is the radio too slim?
