2014 SL w/Nav Spotify using iPhone 5s

WHat's the issue specifically?

I have issues with no sound when I use the radio to initiate the "ipod" source from the phone. So if i'm listening to the radio with the 5S plugged in and I hit the ipod menu button, I get no sound.

If I unplug the phone and plug it back, it works.

Works all the time on BT.

Small glitch i'll bring up to the dealer when I bring in for oil change.

I figured it out, I had no music in my itunes library, so it did not recognize the phone, as soon as I put some music in there, Spotify works!
