For some reason on my daily commute, when I get on an exit and go from I35 to I94, I hear this single beep tone and it happens at exactly the same place every day. However when I'm coming home (the opposite direction) I don't hear it. Sometimes when I change lanes I will hear a beeping and I have the Lane Departure Warning turned off. Anyone else experience this?

Look at the Nav settings.
There are a lot, several screens in worth.
You might see something on.

Most likely it is to let you know that either a sharp turn is coming up, or the speed limit is dropping in a few hundred yards. It really depends on what you have set. I believe by default, both of those will beep. The other one is you are going over 5+ miles over the speed limit. If you look at the right side of the screen on the Nav you may see an exclamation point near the speed limit to tell you what it is for. It took me months to figure this out.

Took me a while to figure out the one on sharp turns too. Whatever genius designed the radio UI at Nissan didn't bother fixing the cut-off label for the option. It says "Speed Warning for Cur..." on the radio. This specific one doesn't seem too helpful as it never warns me on the sharpest curves and always goes off on curves that don't exist (like when the maps think the road goes a certain way but the road has not done that for 6+ years).

The speed warning one will go off at ~20-22mph over if you set it to 30mph. I had to turn this one off too because there is a big stretch of road where it thinks the speed limit is 40mph, but it has been 55mph there for at least 10 years.

I tested it today when I made this same exit turn and it still beeped and I was going under the speed limit and it wasn't a sharp turn or sudden slowdown- the beep is different than the lane departure or forward collision beeps. It's more like a "bing" tone - something like you hear when you're on a commercial airplane.

By any chance do you have an active route set in navigation and it's giving you a 'turn now' beep?

Could it be something on your phone that uses a location and is just communicating via Bluetooth? For example, I have a silly Back To The Future app that makes a lightning bolt sound when I hit certain marker pins on the map.

Finally figured out what it is - it's not the car - it's my 'supplementary' Garmin GPS - that I have mounted to an organizer in the passenger seat - it was making the tone sound - it does it when there is heavy traffic and most everyday at the same spot there is heavy traffic.
