We just got a bunch of snow here in Maryland so I decided to take my 2014 Rogue (AWD SL-Premium Package) out to see what it can do. To say that I am impressed would be an understatement! There is about 4-5 inches of snow out there and I was actually bored driving around the neighborhood! This car had no issues whatsoever in the snow! I tried the AWD lock and WOW! It was like there was no snow at all. I am coming from a 2011 Mazda CX-9 and I can honestly say that my new Rogue feels more solid on the snow than my ultra heavy CX-9 did.

Still so pleased with this car!

Anyone else have snow experiences??

I drove around 200 miles in about 3 inches of snow/sleet in 25º weather, and I must concur with stlrpsu that Rogue is great in the snow. During my trip I did not have a single moment during which Rogue felt like it was losing control. Only few times did I feel the trace control activate to assist with the slipper condition, but that too resulted in great handling. Rogue in the snow is great!

My Rogue handles the snow, cold and ice very well. It is exactly what I expected as my wife's Murano is much the same in concept and has been flawless. I have owned many new cars and trucks (50 plus) in my working years. Some years as many as three. Our Murano and Rogue are as well built and functionally on-the-mark as any of them.

The 2014 Rogue SV AWD riding on 17" wheels have a variant of the Goodyear Assurance tires that rate better on tirerack surveys than the 1st gen Continental 4x4 Contact or Dunlop tires for winter/snow conditions.

My driving experience on my new 2014 SV AWD has been limited as I just picked it up last week but it's nice to see that the OEM tires on the 2nd gen Rogue are getting better survey results :)

Bought my 2014 SL AWD on Monday and Wednesday we got a good snow. My 2013 Altima would have been slipping and sliding all over the place, but the new Rogue was great in the deep snow. What a difference the AWD makes, I couldn't be happier except my new Rogue doesn't look new anymore. When the weather warms up a little over the weekend a quick wash will take care of the snow and salt on it.

I drive 35,000 miles a year in snowy upstate NY and have never been stuck in snow on the road. I've driven Dodge Caravans for 21 years.
I stayed overnight at a relatives house in Februay and awoke to about 18" of snow and a long driveway to navigate in my 2014 AWD Rogue. About 20' from the end of the driveway I got stuck in a snow drift. An hour of shoveling and a bag of cat litter and I was on the way.
AWD, stuck in the snow, worth a laugh :lolling:

I have had a bunch of 4WD and AWD vehicles over the years. I love them but, what they really tend to do is allow you to get stuck better. Harder to get unstuck because you are buried deeper.
