2014 Rogue SL IntelliKey question

Hello All.

New Rogue 2014 SL owner here and first post on the forum! : )

I'm loving the new car so far, but have a question for other owners:

I can't seem to figure out how to get the info screen between the gauge cluster to turn off while i'm sitting in the car with the engine off (with the key in the car, of course). Is this possible?

Is this a big drain on the battery? Sometimes i sit in the car for half and hour or longer, waiting for kids activities to finish, and am a bit weirded out that the screen won't turn off at all. How can i get around this?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! : )

How about unlocking, then locking the doors?
Open then close your door?
It thinks you are still in the car.
It will not drain the battery.
