Hi, all. Hope someone is able to assist with this.
My wife has a 2014 Rogue SV and the shift lock solenoid has been acting up to the point where she has to keep a small screwdriver in the car to manually release the shift lever every now and then. The problem is getting worse.
I've seen some posts for older Rogues on how to bypass or fix the problem, but does anyone have a write-up or information for the 2016 on how to get the trim piece off or remove the center console to gain access to replace the solenoid? I'd rather replace the part than override it. I don't want to start prying stuff up that isn't designed to pop off or remove 50 screws when only one would have done it.
Thanks.
