My understanding on the 2014 model the motor is accessed by removing the glove box vs previous years where you had to go in from the drivers side and remove the pedals correct? Only thing I am not clear on, is where the heck is the resistor? I cannot find instructions on that anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I should note, this isn't my vehicle and I will not have access to the vehicle until we are actually undertaking the process of fixing the issue. I do not have all the details, so diagnosing is not necessary. I just need help with the locations and how to access please.

I believe this is it on p.112, its referred to as the "variable blower control"

Some of the later cars use PWM modulation to speed up and slow down the blower motor, there is no resistor on them.
